Free Chrome extension

Vocabulary Clipper

Right-click a word or a phrase on any page and it lands in a vocabulary list together with the sentence it came from and the address of the page. Edit the list, then export it to CSV, Anki or Quizlet.

The extension captures words with a right-click on any page you visit. Here on the page, add or paste words by hand to see how the list and the export look.

0 words in the list

The list is empty — add a word above, or install the extension to collect words while you browse.

Install the extension

Coming to the Chrome Web Store. The tool above works today without it — the extension adds right-click capture on any page you visit.

How it works

  • Right-click a selected word or phrase on any page → “Save to vocabulary list”.
  • The extension popup shows everything saved, grouped by the page it came from.
  • Edit or delete any entry; add a translation or a note.
  • Export: CSV, Anki (tab-separated for the desktop importer), Quizlet (term/definition).

Permissions are limited to what the feature needs: showing the right-click menu item and saving the list to this browser. The extension makes no network requests and has no account — everything stays on your machine.
